Description

The National Institute on Aging is announcing its intent to issue a single-source cooperative agreement award to the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor for the Social, Behavioral, and Economic Coordinating Center (SBE-CC). The NOFO will be a non-competitive funding opportunity intended, if the application is meritorious, to fund a single award. The application will be reviewed and only funded if it is determined that it is meritorious. It is anticipated that the NOFO will enable the SBE-CC to build on its previous work of informing a future pandemic response that serves all Americans, especially those most likely to be adversely affected. To achieve this objective, the CC will focus on the following activities: (1) developing annual strategic directions, (2) fostering cross-talk, collaboration, and strategy across the SBE research community, and (3) providing and disseminating resources for SBE research communities.Applications are not being solicited at this time.
