The fiscal year (FY) 2025 Body-Worn Camera Policy and Implementation Program (BWCPIP) supports publicly funded law enforcement and correctional agencies in establishing or expanding body-worn camera (BWC) programs. Properly implemented BWC programs can strengthen the evidentiary foundation for criminal prosecutions, provide reliable documentation of officer-citizen encounters, and deter assaults on officers. Please see the Eligible Applicants section for the eligibility criteria.
