Description

The Award Ceiling for Year 1 is 0 (none). CDC anticipates an Approximate Total Fiscal Year Funding amount of $3,000,000 for Year 1, subject to the availability of funds.The NOFO will support Ivorian health systems, laboratory institutions, and interventions to achieve HIV epidemic control. The NOFO complements PEPFAR by increasing and sustaining access to quality laboratory services for all HIV patients on antiretroviral therapy (ART) to improve clinical outcomes and reduce new infections and HIV-associated morbidity and mortality in Côte d’Ivoire. Activities will consist of direct site support and technical assistance (TA) that focus on the: (1) National specimen transportation system. (2) Laboratory workforce. (3) Laboratory management information system. (4) Laboratory policies and laboratory quality. (5) Health Management Information System (HMIS). The recipient will provide support and TA to the National Public Health Laboratory, HIV/AIDS program, HMIS directorate, district health teams, and PEPFAR implementing partners.
