The Award Ceiling for Year 1 is 0 (none). CDC anticipates an Approximate Total Fiscal Year Funding amount of $4,000,000 for Year 1, subject to the availability of funds.This NOFO may be awarded to a single or multiple recipients to provide targeted technical assistance (TA) to the Government of Botswana (GoB) to strengthen health security and national data systems focusing on the governance and policies; capacity building for sustainable data management and system functionality, interoperability, and data use. Recipient (s) will support the GoB in ensuring comprehensive, quality HIV-related strategic information and health security programs operate effectively at the site, district, and national levels through the following strategic activities: (1) Provide TA to support the operations, maintenance, and use of current facility, community, and national data systems (including paper and electronic record systems) necessary for patient management and program monitoring in the delivery of life-saving HIV care, treatment, and targeted prevention services. (2) Provide TA to other country data systems necessary to ensure program oversight and compliance, including routine program monitoring and reporting and support to the data & Information Technology (IT) workforce necessary to operate, maintain and secure the systems and data for PEPFAR program monitoring, oversight, reporting, and compliance. (3) Strengthen health security capacities of the GoB and relevant stakeholders for responsiveness and control of related public health events and associated disease outbreaks across all administrative levels.
